Kuon Group has launched a new concept in the form of Sushi Sei in Sydney’s Darling Square precinct.
Sushi Sei is a casual eatery and joins Hideaki Fukada, Kenny Lee, and Danny Hwang’s other venues Kuon Irori, Kuon Omakase, and the newly opened Izakaya Tempura Kuon.
“We are happy to be welcoming guests to our sushi wonderland, where culinary artistry meets a symphony of flavours,” says Fukada.
“We look forward to more people being able to discover the epitome of sushi perfection at our new concept sushi restaurant.”
Focusing on sushi, items are priced between $4-12 per piece, with guests able to choose from more than 25 options.
The chef team makes the sushi right in front of guests, plating up everything from spear squid and bass groper to aburi kingfish, imperador, uni, scampi, and salmon belly.
Guests can also choose to take part in three different omakase experiences priced at $40 for eight pieces, $55 for nine pieces, and $70 for 12 pieces – all including tamago.
There’s also a selection of appetisers available alongside the sushi including agedashi tofu, bluefish tuna wings, grilled kingwish wings, and arajiru.
Sushi Sei is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week.
