Sydney wine store P&V has launched a week-long pop up at Parlour in QT Sydney.
P&V Wine + Liquor Merchants is a Sydney bottle shop founded by Mike Bennie and Louise Dowling. The flagship stores in Newtown and Paddington sell an eclectic range of natural and sustainable wines from smaller producers, crafted through biodynamic and organic processes.
The event will see the natural wine purveyors pair a range of bespoke wines with Parlour’s neo-French bistro menu on the ground floor of QT Sydney. QT Sydney Head Sommelier Jarrett Buffington collaborated with P&V to determine a selection of wines that align with the menu and guest tastes. The P&V selection will accompany the hotel’s extensive existing list of 350 wines.
Guests can enjoy a selection of red, white or sparkling alongside $1 escargot and $2 oysters for afternoon aperitif. At dinner, P&V wines can be paired with Parlour’s two or three course menus, with highlights including pork terrine, tuna crudo, and steak frites.
The collaboration will run from Thursday 26 September till Thursday 3 October.
