After operating for 12 years in Surry Hills, Li’l Darlin is today opening a new outpost in Crows Nest.
“We wanted to expand to Crows Nest to bring that feel we have created in Surry Hills over the bridge for more people to enjoy,” says owner Peter Augoustis.
The restaurant is located close to the new Sydney Metro, which motivated Augoustis’ decision to open in the area.
“With the new metro making North Sydney more accessible, we’re excited to bring the Surry Hills experience over the bridge and connect with a growing community of diners,” says Augoustis.
Li’l Darlin Surry Hills established its name with affordable specials and playful cocktails, including the iconic Fairy Floss Martini. The new restaurant will feature the same offering with more space, seating between 60-80 people.
The Crows Nest menu follows the same formula as Surry Hills, with a range of share plates and tapas, including arancini balls, peking duck pancakes, and pizzas. Daily promotions like happy hour remain, alongside new promotions including Taco Tuesdays, Wine Down Wednesdays and Clocked Off Thursdays.
A range of new cocktails will also join the menu, including Gin There Done That, Better the Devil You Know, and It Takes 2 to Mango.
“Every cocktail at Li’l Darlin is made from scratch with fresh, high-quality ingredients, ensuring that no matter which side of the bridge you’re on, you can enjoy the same vibrant, fun, and fast service that has become our signature. We’re looking forward to sharing our passion for great drinks and memorable experiences with a whole new community,” says Augoustis.
“The main goal for our menu is to create dishes with the mindset of inclusiveness and something for everyone,” says Augoustis.
Li’l Darlin is open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday (12pm-10pm), Thursday (2pm-11pm), and Friday and Saturday (12pm-12am).
