One of Sydney’s most iconic pubs The Toxteth Hotel is welcoming summer with a brand-new rooftop terrace.
The pub has been owned by Public House Management Group since 2018, with owners Mitchell and Harriet Waugh refreshing the venue’s interiors before taking on the rooftop project.
Known as the Tocky Terrace, the space is offering a different experience to guests compared to the downstairs area.
The rooftop has been decked out with brass accents, terrazzo tiles, booth seating, and panoramic windows with a hero view of the city and room for 250 patrons.
“Our goal was to create a unique rooftop gastro-pub experience within the Inner West,” says Mitchell.
“We are delighted with its’ modern aesthetic and lively atmosphere which brings a new dimension and young community to the Toxteth Hotel.”
The rooftop has its own food offering and is running bottom brunch on weekends for $85pp which includes Mimosas, Hardy’s The Riddle sparkling brut, 4 Pines Pacific Ale, and Bloody Mary’s accompanied by steak frites, Blue Swimmer crab gnocchi and a selection of sides and salads.
Open Monday to Thursday from 10am until midnight; Friday and Saturday from 10am until 1am; and Sunday from 11am until 10pm.
